Description
Our client is seeking the services of a Senior Java Developer/Tech Lead. Please note permanent residents will be considered for these roles.
The Senior Java Developer/Tech Lead should have good communication skills, show's initiative, be able to work in an uncertain environment on rapid development and 5 years or more experience working as a Senior Java Developer and/or Tech Lead.
Core Skills & Experience:
Strong Java/J2EE/JEE Design & Development Skills;
Experience with Object Oriented concepts;
Knowledge of and experience with SOAP, XML, JMS, EJB 3 & Web Services;
Rational Application Developer;
Strong oral and written communication skills;
Highly motivated and focused on delivering quality outcome; and
At least 7 years recent experience developing Java/J2EE/JEE applications.
Desirable Skills & Experience:
WebSphere Portal Server;
WebSphere Portlet Factory;
IBM Lotus Forms;
WebSphere Integration Developer;
WebSphere Process Server;
Database design & development;
WebSphere Application Server; and
Experience working in a SOA environment.
