EMEA Procurement Lead - Greenfield site - senior management engagement - global company

£300 - £350/day - 6 month contract with a willingness to become permanent
A Global organisation supplying business and financial information, financial markets knowledge and technology solutions, seeks a Procurement Lead for EMEA to be responsible for delivery of strategic sourcing solutions to support the next generation network.

The Role
The EMEA Procurement Lead will be joining a small team and play a key role in delivering significant improvements across the existing supply chain. The EMEA Procurement Lead will be working alongside senior management to deliver an appropriate strategy to drive network efficiencies. The EMEA Commercial Lead will be involved with purchasing and managing equipment that is used to connect networks and deliver projects and they will utilize their project management skills in order to take ownership and ensure delivery end-to-end.
This is a commercial/procurement role with a heavy relationship management element, and would be best suited to a tenacious individual with a strong background in procurement, commercial management or technical operations.
The EMEA Procurement Lead will have:
* At least 5 years' relevant experience including a strong background in procurement or commercial management and specific knowledge of telecoms sourcing
* Supply management experience at regional level
* Excellent contract negotiation and execution skills
* The ability to deliver sourcing projects remotely
* Strong programme management skills
