SAP Project Manager - Spply Chain Manafacturing
Skills:
10 + year experience in project management, including major development of new business model and roll-out in international environment.
Supply Chain and Manufacturing background
International experience and ability to manage a virtual team
Very good communication & convincing skills
Fluent in English
Readiness to travel about 20 % of his time in Europe and occasionally to Asia and North America
Experience in building RFP and suppliers management
Experience with change management
SL Template scope:
- Enhancement of existing Supply Line template in area of logistics, product costing and controlling, production planning and manufacturing, sourcing
- Roll-out in Europe, Asia, North America
- close integration with SL India
Key tasks for 2013:
- Finalise documentation
- Build RFP materials
- Lead RFP process for the development
- Finalise plan and budget
Key tasks for 2014
- Manage development of the quick wins with internal and external resources
- Establish roll-out principle and packaging
- Start roll-out in Europe
- Ensure coordination with India SL implementation for possible partial delivery of QW to India.
KEY OBJECTIVES:
The purpose of the One Delivery program is to provide full and immediate visibility and transparency to all customer orders, related project schedules, engineering activities, material deliveries and installation activities across the organization, thus enabling fast, reliable and cost efficient execution of customer projects.
The system solution is built utilizing mainly standard SAP functionalities, taking full advantage of a single SAP instance created by the SAP Consolidation program, and providing a clean and robust ERP platform. This will enable also clean and robust interfaces to other solutions and make future maintenance and support easier.
The main KPI's impacted by the program are NPI, S-plan milestone lead times and accuracy, COT, WIP and Delivery Chain costs.
DELIVERABLES:
Process design and role definitions for integrated customer project management
ERP system solution design and implementation for integrated customer project management, from tendering to handover to maintenance.
Related solution interface design and implementation, especially regarding KTOC, VariPDM, IMT, MP Cockpit and CPM.
Piloting and roll-out, including relevant change management activities
Key tasks 2013:
- Detailed project scoping, planning and budget - liaising with other programs for share resources (KTOC, VariPDM)
- Package RFP for Proof of Concept
- Selection of partner for Proof of concept
- Kick-off proof-of concept
Key tasks 2014:
- Proof-of-concept realisation
- Finalise design with results of proof of concept
- Define pre-requisite for project as input to SAP Roadmap to establish harmonisation plan
- Development of One delivery model
- Roll-out methodology, scope and sequence, including pilot definition.
Key tasks 2015:
- Pilot in first part of the year
- Roll-out from second part of the year
