Sub-ledger, Business Analyst, Accountant
For this large Tier 1 Investment Bank we are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to assist on a programme of work. This role sits within the Transaction Accounting change group. The objective of the Transaction Accounting work-stream is to automate the delivery of the bank's strategic sub-ledger and general ledger. You will have experience working with Sub-ledger implementation programmes.
Role responsibilities:
- Liaise with the client (Financial Control, Financial & Regulatory Reporting) to analyse and document the current business process model and capture of requirements.
- Undertake gap analysis between current and future states
- Develop requirements and define target processes and architecture on which applications can be interfaced and built.
- Familiarise the client with existing and new system functionality through production of documentation and/or training
- Organise and instigate appropriate business process transition training.
- Develop UAT test plan and test scripts and manage UAT
Job Requirements
- University degree/post graduate or professional qualifications
- Accountancy qualification such as ACA or CIMA
- PMI/Prince 2 Certified (desirable not mandatory)
