Core Network Engineer - NSN - MSS - MGW - C7 - Europe - Based in Lisbon
My client is a Mobile Virtual Network Operator who are developing a Core Network infrastructure with MSS, MGW and GGSN. They currently require a Core Network Engineer to help in a long term project establishing interconnects to several other networks including a major national Telecoms provider.
The requirement is to undertake 'Network Integration Testing' with the customer who expects that the test cases within are executed towards their test environment before they proceed to configure and subsequently test the 'live network' connections.
Key Skills:-
* Must be fluent in German language - preferred as first language as you will be communicating regularly with customer.
* General understanding of 'Mobile Circuit Core' networks in Release 4 configuration. Specific working knowledge of NSN MSS and MGW network elements.
* Good understanding of C7 signalling at MTP and ISUP level. Ability to analyse signalling traces and diagnose failures. Be able to collect logs, message monitoring etc from NSN products
* This is a testing role and the contract will be limited to the test phase of this project.
