Description
Senior Treasury Accountant required to work in Central London on a 3 month contract initially.
The responsibilities of the role will include:
* Accounting for all treasury activities and consolidation of the results for periodic reporting and commentaries.
* Prepare and analyse the Group's debt position, including foreign exchange and hedge accounting, and perform hedge effectiveness testing.
* Prepare the IFRS annual and interim statutory accounts of the financing company and the IFRS disclosures in the Group's annual and interim reports.
* Act as the department point of contact for the external auditors and provide all necessary information to meet their requirements with regard to Treasury issues.
* Liaise with the Treasury department on accounting issues. Provide challenge and accounting insight to help guide decision making.
* Work with the Treasury department to resolve any conflicts or queries arising out of treasury transactions and organise regular meetings to address issues.
* Oversee the provision of settlement support to counterparties on a daily basis.
* Supervise and develop a member of staff.
Candidates should come to the role with:
Essential
* Treasury Back Office experience in a large business with experience of financing derivatives and debt instruments.
* ACA or ACCA qualified.
* Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
Desirable
* IT2 treasury management system experience.
