CUSTOMER SERVICE AND COMMUNICATION ARE KEY FOR THIS CUSTOMER! Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals. Documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces hardware and software systems. Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security and systems groups. May require an associate's degree in a related area or 3 - 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the fields concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. Typically reports to a project leader or manager. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

DETAILS:
Remedy is the ticketing system used. While there are other Atos techs in the vicinity, there are no other techs supporting this account in the state of Florida. There is remote assistance, so the individual needs to be able to work independently but also know when to call for help so that the customer is services in a timely manner. Customer service is vital and the #1 objective for this site. There are approximately 220 Dell PC/laptops at the site. Locally there is about 2 tickets per day - and the rest of the day the tech would assist other sites by working tickets remotely. Operating system is currently XP and they are migration to Win7 soon. As much knowledge of MS Products, IP phones, Citrix as possible is a bonus!
