Description
Seeking an Oracle BI Specialist for a contract opportunity in Atlanta, GA. Candidates must be local to Atlanta in order to be considered. The client will conduct in-person interviews. Also, the client is highly interested in converting the right contractor to a permanent employee.
Primary Areas of Responsibility:
- Design and construct effective OBI dashboards
o Requires a solid understanding of the capabilities and use of the Oracle Business Intelligence tool, an understanding of GUI design principles, and the ability to collaborate with the team on selection of appropriate metrics and visual elements to provide actionable information efficiently
o Metadata design of Physical/logical/Presentation layers, aggregate tables, hierarchies, variables & initialization blocks, object level security in OBIEE RPD
o Action links and drill-downs, Metadata design of Physical/logical/Presentation layers, aggregate tables, hierarchies, variables & initialization blocks in OBIEE RPD
o Caching strategy, dashboard performance and user experience
- Collaborate with the Application/Database Administration team on various system level setup parameters and troubleshooting including data caching strategy, Oracle SR management, RPD & Web
Catalog Migration procedures
- Collaborate with the ETL team on the design and construction of the Datawarehouse schemas & data model to support the OBI dashboards and reports
- Collaborate with the BI reporting team on dashboard requirements, design and construction of OBI shared reports, ad-hoc user generated reports and alerts
