Hey, this is Mike Botsko - owner of Snowy-Evening.com.
I built Snowy (an amazing issue tracking service that's powerful enough for developers but easy for clients) myself, with design help from a previous partner who unfortunately is no longer with the project.
The business is still new but has shown promise with early users and customers. Industry leaders like Cameron Moll, Ryan Carson, and more have all used the product and were extremely impressed. We've only been live a few months so there's a lot of room to grow, and that's where I need you.
I'm seeking two additions to the company - a marketing expert to really help get the Snowy product name out there, and a new designer/front-end developer to take us new places with UI while I handle the server/application programming.
Snowy needs people who are motivated, who clearly are experts, and who know how to respectfully communicate with the team and keep everyone informed.
I'm serious about sharing equity for your time - no silly 5% shares. With two people who can really be a benefit I'd be happy to split everything equally. The success of the company depends on having the right people, and if you're joining the team, I want it to be worth it.
Designer/front-end developer
- Excellent web design skills (Photoshop, Illustrator, whatever)
- Talent for very creative, yet very professional designs
- Expert knowledge of css/html (I can always do it, but I have plenty to do)
- Ability to navigate php/jquery code if needed
- Understanding the how and why of valid, semantic markup*
- Experience with git helpful
Marketing Expert
- Expert with online content marketing - both paid and free
- Experience in spreading the word about a product, growing users, optimizing the experience to increase conversions, etc
