Description
Expert ETL Informatica and PL/SQL developer with extensive experience in data integration projects. Position responsible for designing, developing and implementing Back End solution for Customer Portal. Required to participate in designing and physical implementation of optimal data model and complex ETL processes with emphasis on data integrity, near-Real Time data currency and fast response time.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test and implement data integration solutions to support Customer Portal using Informatica, Unix ksh scripts, PL/SQL and other ETL tools and technologies.
- Participate in overall SDLC: sources and data analysis, code and database development, unit and system testing, deployment, post-production tuning and monitoring etc.
- Work closely with Business Analysts, Front End application developers, Data Modelers, source systems owners and users to ensure design and implementation of optimal solutions - with emphasis on data integrity, near-Real Time data currency and fast response time.
- Create or update technical documentation relating to database and ETL design and implementation: Technical Architecture Specifications, Source to Target Mappings, Data Flow Diagrams, Operational Manuals etc.
- Help to troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to ETL processes and data integrity, perform issue root cause analysis and provide downtimes support as needed.
- Mentor and assist junior developers and support staff; perform peer code reviews as needed
Qualifications:
Experience, Required Skills/Competencies
- 10+ years hands-on experience in designing and developing complex data integration and data ETL solutions in large enterprise environments
- 7+ year hands-on experience in CRM systems and Customer or Agent Portals Back End design and ETL programming
- Expertise in PL/SQL, Informatica and Unix Shell Scripting
- Experience in physical database design on Oracle platform
- In depth knowledge in CRM systems, Agent and Customer Portals concepts
- Extensive experience with all phases of SDLC
- Experience in handling large volumes of data
- Experience in performance for OLTP applications
- Experience working with heterogeneous data sources
- Strong data modelling and data mapping skills
- Ability to translate business requirements into programming specifications
- Ability to provide on-call production support as needed
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills
Special Certifications/Technical Skills:
