CPA/CMA preferred; MBA preferred, plus minimum 7+ years of direct relevant experience.

EXPERT AT EXCEL, ABLE TO ANALYZE DATA, NOT JUST RUN NUMBERS, ATTENTION TO DETAIL AND THE ABILITY TO PROOFREAD REPORTS
PREFERRED: MUST BE EXPERIENCED WITH A VARIETY OF FINANCIAL SYSTEMS LIKE COGNOS AND TM1 AND COMMUNICATE EFFECTIVELY WITH LAWYERS WHO MAY NOT UNDERSTAND THE MEANING OF THE REPORTS. (THIS CAN BE CHALLENGING, SO PATIENCE IS KEY)
Job Description:
- Uses professional accounting concepts and internal company policies to solve complex accounting issues including the maintenance of internal controls.
- Participates in and implements monthly financial close, supervises the assignments of the staff accountants to include general ledger, accounts payable and fixed assets.
- Prepares monthly management financial reporting package and executive summary schedules.
- Coordinates and facilitates the process of documenting accounting policies and procedures.
- Full knowledge of Cost Management Information Systems (CMIS) is required.
- Experience in healthcare industry highly preferred.
