Interim Procurement Director
Fixed Term contract: 12 to 18 Months

You'll play a vital role as Procurement Director providing strategic leadership to a £600 million procurement project, creating cost saving initiatives and introduce new directives to improve efficiencies and customer satisfaction to meet our customer's needs.
You will be the main advocate for ensuring the delivery of the OJEU procurement for the repairs and maintenance services, supporting the smooth transition of current contract delivery. You'll lead and inspire your own team of procurement specialists to become a centre of expertise developing and implementing an improvement plan to achieve demonstrable savings and value for money from all procurement activities.
To do this successfully, you'll have worked in a fast-paced environment successfully leading and delivering a significant change programme. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in order to influence key stakeholders with a proven track record of delivering major re-procurement of repairs and maintenance is preferred but not essential. You'll be CIPS qualified with a proven track record of contract negotiation, coupled with a high level of gravitas and credibility.
