Description
On behalf of our client in Helsinki, Finland, I am looking for a Sharepoint Applications Administrator to fulfil a long term contract opportunity.
Role:
The SharePoint Application Administrator will perform the following tasks:
*Contribute to the tasks related to go-live of the IT workflows for the Dossier Evaluation Processes supporting the migration from the current SharePoint;
*First lever helpdesk support - setup of user rights, issues with accessing items in SharePoint, issues with uploading/downloading/checking in-out documents, issues with creation/modification/deletion of SharePoint items, etc.;
*Serve of user requests that can be implemented using SharePoint application environment. For example: creation of new sites, lists, libraries, etc., addition/modification of metadata, addition/modification of list columns, addition of default SharePoint Web parts into the User Interface, etc. In general any action that requires utilisation of default SharePoint functionalities;
*Assist in the administration of the SharePoint platforms of DMS (production, staging, development) and resolve issues related to them;
*Provide timely reports on activities carried out in the above-mentioned aspects and document the work that has been done;
*Document the work done and the current configuration of the platform
Required Skills:
*Expert knowledge of SharePoint 2007 and 2010
*Hands-on experience of the following using MS Office SharePoint 2007 or 2010:
i. Building workflows in SharePoint Designer
ii. User management
iii. Site administration
