Quality Analyst Microbiology

3-6 Months Contract
Circa 17,000

Role Objective:
Ensuring compliance with the regulatory obligation to monitor drinking water quality and to react to quality failures, incidents and events.
Undertake Regulatory microbiological analysis of drinking water and allied samples collected from water treatment works, service reservoirs and customer taps.
Undertake microbiological analysis of Sewage Sludge samples.
Preparation of media and reagents using a variety of techniques.
Production of LIMS worksheets, data entry along with reporting and interpretation of results
Undertake Algal and Zooplankton Analysis

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualification in microbiology or biological subject at NVQ Level 3 or equivalent,
Biological degree preferred.
Full and valid driving licence

To be considered for this role you must be HPC registered with at least 2 years post graduate experience with in the UK
