Document Coordinator
Objective
Support to team by providing technical, administrative, and overall support.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain collaborative relationships with Product developers, Quality, Regulatory, Analytical, Microbiology, Plant Operations, and Management.
  • Create, update, maintain, and troubleshoot material and formula specification database.
  • Liaise with project teams and suppliers.
  • Project documentation for new/existing projects based on R&D templates and procedures.
  • Generate Purchase Orders for plant trials or bench-top studies and follow-up on invoices.
  • Assist in bench-top preparation for product audits and Consumer Testing.
  • Process Microbiological and Analytical sample submissions.
  • Assist with Shelf Life studies and First Production Audits.
  • Prepare, label, pack, and ship samples and supply tracking information.
  • Enter test data into Excel.
  • Prepare bench-top prototypes in support of product development.

    Education/Experience
  • Degree in Food Science or related field preferred.
  • Some (1+ years) experience in the food industry.

    Skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Excel, Word.
  • Ability to learn company internal computer systems such as Meridian Interspec, SmartKart, iPaySmart, and winLIMS.
  • Flexible team player with good interpersonal skills.
  • Open to learning new material and taking on additional responsibilities as needed.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and follow up in all areas.
  • Excellent organization and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to be flexible with changing needs and react quickly
  • Good problem solving skills
