Objective
Support to team by providing technical, administrative, and overall support.

Responsibilities

Maintain collaborative relationships with Product developers, Quality, Regulatory, Analytical, Microbiology, Plant Operations, and Management.

Create, update, maintain, and troubleshoot material and formula specification database.

Liaise with project teams and suppliers.

Project documentation for new/existing projects based on R&D templates and procedures.

Generate Purchase Orders for plant trials or bench-top studies and follow-up on invoices.

Assist in bench-top preparation for product audits and Consumer Testing.

Process Microbiological and Analytical sample submissions.

Assist with Shelf Life studies and First Production Audits.

Prepare, label, pack, and ship samples and supply tracking information.

Enter test data into Excel.

Prepare bench-top prototypes in support of product development.

Education/Experience

Degree in Food Science or related field preferred.

Some (1+ years) experience in the food industry.

Skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Excel, Word.

Ability to learn company internal computer systems such as Meridian Interspec, SmartKart, iPaySmart, and winLIMS.

Flexible team player with good interpersonal skills.

Open to learning new material and taking on additional responsibilities as needed.

Ability to manage multiple projects and follow up in all areas.

Excellent organization and prioritization skills.

Ability to be flexible with changing needs and react quickly

Good problem solving skills
