Description
The role requires an individual who will work on their own initiative to gather requirements from various departments within the business and can work within project and development life cycles that are iterative and constantly evolving.
In this position the application of Agile methodologies in the delivery of software is vital so a strong Agile background is essential
The successful candidate will also be responsible for completing appropriate analysis on important projects within the business, recommending solutions and producing documentation such as user stories and use cases.
Most importantly the BA must be able to communicate clearly and concisely with all stakeholders, including operational managers of all levels, Development Manager, Dev team, Testers and Project Managers
Core Responsibilities
- Utilise analysis skills to capture and understand business requirements, providing an interface between business users and technical communities
- Production of requirements documentation including user stories, use cases and other appropriate formats depending on the project in question
- Develop effective relationships within the company and become a key knowledge holder of the business to drive future projects/enhancements
- Contribute to the continuous development and improvement of the business analysis role within the projects team and IT team
Essential Experience
- Proven experience of business and systems analysis within an IT development environment utilising agile development principles.
- Experienced translating business requirements into deliverable solutions
