DS8 is currently looking for a Storage System Engineer for a client in Brussels.
This is a Bilingual requirement and candidates must speak Dutch/French with some English.
Candidates will have at least 3 years in a professional Open Storage system domain.
The following technical skills are a must for the position. Brocade SAN management. IBM Disk Storage systems (IBMDS8300). HP9500 disk Storage system. PPRC replication protocol. Defining zoning, LUN masking. Physical planning management for this equipment (provide all environmental and cabling information to Facility). Network basics. Windows family operating systems I/O Subsystem. Unix family operating systems I/O subsystem. Experience with: PPRC replication protocol. I-Series I/O subsystem (AS-400). Z/OS I/O subsystem (Mainframe). IBM DS8300 DSCLI. HP9500 Raidcom CLI. HP9500 Raidmanager AE CLI.
You will perform daily operational storage activities at a 2nd level support as well as project or specific tasks as required.
