As a preferred supplier to the Sydney CBD based Government Department, Candle are seeking a contract Infrastructure Problem Manager for an initial six month assignment.

Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Implementing the infrastructure landscape to meet existing and future business requirements
  • Establishing processes, procedures and training plans for the Service Operation resources
  • Conduct research and make recommendations on the products, hosting services, protocols, software and hardware standards in support of the infrastructure
  • Ensure appropriate Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are established for infrastructure problem resolution
  • Liaising with vendors, outsourcers and contractors to secure infrastructure specific products and services
  • Managing infrastructure operational costs
  • Contribute towards IT infrastructure strategies and roadmaps
  • Provide effective management of ITIL based processes to ensure successful delivery of services
  • Maintain reporting and governance of knowledge management for the infrastructure and other IT teams
  • Produce weekly reports various stakeholders
  • Infrastructure strategy and planning
  • Manage escalation to the Service Delivery team
