General Profile

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, Professional Staffing, the primary function of the Marketing Manager is support the development and implementation of strategic marketing and communications plans for one of the professional services brands within the Adecco Group.

In this role you will be expected to work closely with the Group marketing team, Managing Director of the brand(s), Head of Marketing, Group Brand & Marketing Director, colleagues across the Branch network, our centre of excellence team and agencies.

You will be expected to:

*Support the development and implementation of marketing strategies and plans for a selected areas of the business in line with Group marketing and brand strategies.
*Contribute to the development and implementation of Group marketing initiatives

Applicants will be required to have:

*Experience as a marketing professional from a corporate/professional services environment.
*B2B marketing experience is essential; some B2C experience is desirable.
*Experience of implementing integrated, strategic marketing campaigns with evidence of success
*Proven project and campaign management ability
*Strong communication (both written and verbal) and presentation skills

Task Management:
*Write and promote thought leadership and market commentary materials
*Assist in the implementation of Group integrated marketing campaigns, focused on customer acquisition, retention and development
*Manage advertising campaigns and promotional activity (both on-line and off-line)
*Ensure that all activity is managed within agreed budgets

Operational Planning and Efficiency:
*Manage allocated marketing budgets
*Measure RoI on all marketing activities and take appropriate action to improve performance
*Create plans and implement correct resources, structure and infrastructure to support efficient execution of such plans in line with organisational strategy.
*Constantly review and improve processes establishing harmonised processes compliant with organisational standards.
*Guarantee all work is compliant with internal and external audit requirements.

Resource Management:
*Liaison with marketing colleagues and where appropriate, external providers on the design, production and distribution of marketing collateral
*Ensure the necessary competencies and skills exist to provide an efficient and flexible service to customers.

Business Acumen

Business Strategy:
*Working with the Head of Marketing, relevant Managing Director and managers, develop, implement and manage strategic integrated marketing plans
*Assist in the implementation of Group integrated marketing campaigns, focused on customer acquisition, retention and development
*Take an analytical and strategic approach in creating business plans for the short, medium and long term in line with achieving the corporate vision

Knowledge Management:
*Build in-depth knowledge of the relevant specialism, its customers (candidates and clients), service offering and market issues
*Build in-depth knowledge of the brands, their customers (candidates and clients) and market issues
*Ensure relevant business knowledge is deployed, shared and retained within the business.
*Ensure information is recorded on the company systems in accordance with required procedures.
*Encourage effective communication to facilitate sharing of best practice and organisational learning.

Market Awareness:
*Devise and manage tactical integrated marketing campaigns designed to generate leads and inbound calls.
*Conduct and/or manage market research, customer insight and competitor analysis and develop appropriate strategies to address issues arising
*Build high levels of visibility in target markets through strategic PR activity
*Maintain awareness of local competition and their modus operandi in order to maintain best practice.
*Maintain awareness of market/legal changes and impact of such on the finance operation.
*Research, plan and forecast market trends and apply analysed data into effective business plans and strategies.
