Description
For one of our customers TFC - Talent Force Cooperation - is looking for a Storage Administrator.
The Storage Administrator is responsible for third line administration of the customer's global Storage services. Next to that, as part of the storage team (4 people) you will assist in projects and implementing changes for this environment.
Activities
- Managing Storage environment (NetApp NAS in a 7 x 24 environment);
- Execute storage related projects
- Sharing knowledge to 1st and 2nd line support (outsourced to external parties);
- Implementation of various improvements from process and technical perspective;
- Implementation of changes according ITIL process;
- Solving incidents and problems;
- Standby shift (7 x 24);
- Reporting and documentation;
Hard skills:
Candidate is well acquainted with IT infrastructure in a broad sense and with storage infrastructure in particular. Further requirements for the candidate:
- Advanced knowledge of High Available NetApp based Storage Solutions;
- Experience in executing administration and storage improvement projects with large international companies
- Strong verbal and written communication skills (English, Dutch)
- Good administrative and documenting capabilities
- Preferably Experience on Unix, Linux, Windows and Oracle
- Structured worker (to be proven by set of documented maintenance procedures)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills;
