Database Developer/XML/XSLT/WSDL/XML/PL/SQL/Oracle/Brussels
Montreal Associates is currently looking for an Database Developer to join a leading organisation based in Brussels. 6 month contract to start with but extensions are almost certain to follow.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Database Developer looking to increase their exposure to the following:
XML/XSLT and preferably WSDL (or XML scheme)
Development of applications that access databases
PL/SQL and stored procedures
Good knowledge of SQL, including join statements, performance tuning.
Oracle import and export tools
Candidate must be able to speak Dutch/French and English.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the integration and acceptance testing phase
Perform regression testing
Work in cooperation with other departments of DIS
Assess feasibility of requirements
Translate requirements to technical specifications
Development environment is HPUX, Oracle 11G R2.
