Description
On behalf of our high profile client, I am looking for an Electronics Hardware Engineer to fulfil a long-term contract.
Key Tasks:
Electronics assistance to work package manager
Interface with internal and external customers.
System/subsystem level interfacing and trade-offs.
Hardware design for space environment/ground testing
Test planning, test and verification of the instrument using software.
Authoring of technical documents (including assembly & test procedures, reports and technical descriptions).
Essential requirements:
Qualifications Degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience
Experience Project engineering experience in an electronics role, involvement with a project team working in an Assembly, Integration and Test phase.
Knowledge & Skills:
Self motivated
Excellent inter-personal skills - both written and oral communications; ability to interface with customers and technical representatives.
Creative problem solving.
Understanding of mechanical design.
Basic Programming skills desirable
Good organisation skills and able to prioritise own workload.
Flexible & adaptable to changing priorities.
Good attention to detail.
Good MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint particularly).
