Credit Risk Process Analyst

We are currently looking for a Credit Risk Process Analyst to work with a global financial firm in the city of London. This vacancy is a 6 month contract with a view to extend.

Key accountabilities

1) To present to the business any areas of enhancement to the policies or business processes;
2) To refine and document the business requirements, ensuring that these are in line with current policies and agreed scope, identifying any high priority differences;
3) To identify business processes that may be supported by systems
4) To assist the system providers understand the business requirements where relevant;
5) To refine and document the business processes and procedures;
6) To ensure the business requirements and processes support the objectives of the CCP policy;
7) To ensure that any relevant methodologies are documented to a high standard;
8) To identify relevant data sources to support the business requirements and processes;
9) To assist in the production and review of test cases.

The successful candidate will have the following:-

1) At least 5 years experience in process modelling and requirements and methodologies documentation.
2) Demonstrable experience of large system and process implementations.
3) Strong credit risk management experience within the finance industry, preferable within an investment bank.
4) Strong understanding of theoretical credit analysis models and their practical application.
5) Detailed understanding of various custody models, segregation of assets and their legal and practical application.
