Cloud System Admin Storage Back Up EMC Avamar.
For a project in Mexico we are currently looking for a Storage Engineer with solid experience working with EMC Avamar and one or more areas of cloud infrastructure across open systems.
You will be responsible for providing escalation support for lower tier staff regarding tickets for Avamar as utilised in the Back-up as-a-Service solution as well as an internal backup tool. Pro-active identity of problems and providing solutions is also necessary.
Absolute must have skills:
- Core EMC Avamar Solution
- Back Up Agents,
- Avamar Scripting and automation
- Avamar Reporting and monitoring.
Expertise in one or more of the following:
- BackUp: VTL's Tape Libraries, Deduplication.
- EMC VNX series, Unisphere and Cisco MDS
- Vblock
- Virtulization:Vmware vSphere 5.
