Position: Front End Developer,
Bethesda, MD,
6+mths.
Job Qualifications:
- MS preferred, but a minimum of a BS in CS, Information Systems
- 6- 8 years experience in the field of Information technology
- Design, Development and Testing for User interfaces for Web-based applications using JSP, HTML, CSS, PL/SQL.
- Develop/provide programmatic interfaces to Middleware, Back End and other systems using Web Services, etc.
- The Candidate must have expertise in developing high quality User Interfaces;
- Experience with GWT, Grails/Groovy development tools and technologies preferred.
- Ability to lead in prototyping and developing wire-frame models; create web-based applications/tools to visualize, analyze and edit bio-medical data; Knowledge of variety of systems methods for storing, analysing and presenting large data sets
- Solid understanding of the software development life cycle including test methodologies and change management control.
- Have excellent communication skills - written, verbal, and presentation to be able to lead/provide reviews and presentations to stakeholders.
