Description
Our large government client is currently seeking to hire a highly creative and strong User Experience/UX designer to be engaged in multimedia content development, graphics/animations, training, and mentoring of other Multimedia designers.
You must be an Australian Citizen, as you will be required to obtain Security Clearance if you are successful for the role.
The length of the Contract is from 01 Dec 2012 to 30 Jun 2014. This includes one year extension option from 01 Jul 2014 to 30 Jun 2015.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high end Graphic Design and Animation services using technologies such as Adobe Creative Suite (Flash, Photoshop, Illustrator, In-Design and After Effects).
- Support and Improvise current websites and video products.
- Ensure the Graphic User Interfaces (GUI) and templates meet the platform requirements.
- Ensure the print media meets industry standards and requirements specified in the SOPs and project documentation.
- Ensure products adhere to software useability principles.
- Training and Mentoring of Multimedia Technicians.
- Deliver multimedia training in software useability principles to staff
- Deliver multimedia training in Graphic User Interface design principles and procedures.
- Deliver training in Procedures and work flows during the design and development phase.
- Support and update the process and work-flow documentation, templates and style guides.
