Network and Security Engineer
Description:
As a Network and Security Engineer, you will be responsible for operations, maintenance, monitoring, implementation and design of the networks, systems and security perimeters.
Your main tasks and responsibilities:
* Maintain the network, communication and security infrastructure.
* Provide technical advice and guidance to project team members and internal and external customers
* Support the DNS platform
* Support the Registration platform
* Support the internal Back Office systems
* Implement security plans and improve robustness of the networks and the systems.
Profile:
* You have a university degree in computer science or equivalent by experience
* You have a relevant work experience of more than 5 years as a network or system administrator
* You have an in-depth knowledge and proven experience with TCP/IP, IPv4, IPv6, BGP, routing and switching
* You have proven experience with Juniper equipment (Routers and Firewalls)
* You have experience with enterprise wireless equipment
* You have experience with SSL VPN appliances and other VPN technology
* You are familiar with DNS and know about recent evolution like DNSSEC
* You are familiar with Unix environments (linux, Solaris)
* You are familiar with of one or more Scripting languages
* You are customer and service-minded
* You are a team-worker, but able to work independently
* You are fluent in English and either Dutch or French
