Materials Lead Engineer - R&D Innovation - East Midlands

In line with continuous growth (110 + projects, 700 clients!) they are seeking a Materials Engineer or Polymer technologist with leadership experience.
Skills/Competencies required.
- Strong technical knowledge and practical experience in developing and processing materials ideally Polymers or Thermoplastics
- Strong commercial awareness as experience should be gained through industry employment
- Minimum degree level - higher degree if possible
- Excellent track record of New Product Development or R&D
- Problem-solving - they need to be able to transfer their knowledge into workable practical solutions to achieve the successful product development deliverables
- Excellent track record of working within time and budget constraints
- Proven leadership skills (min 1 year) - you will be leading a team of seven technicians and technologists.
- Planning - must be able to plan and organise time effectively with key stakeholders to ensure delivery of project result
