Vacancy: Internal Media Manager
Duration: Contract Six Months
Location: Newport South Wales

An exciting opportunity has arisen with a large prestigious global company based in Newport.
The company a worldwide leader in global security solutions and systems are looking for a creative, highly motivated and enthusiastic Internal Media Manager to join the team.

Purpose
To Manage the creation, input, maintenance and governance of information relating to the Company on the Company website, Intranet and through all internal media channels.
To promote the Company brand in UK through CSR initiatives and sponsoring activities.
Align strategical and operational communications throughout the Company using the full internal media mix.
Contribute content and ideas to all Company Internal Media and Act as focal point for UK related topics in the Companies Internal and Online Media team.
Consultant for best practice for Companies wide information policy to UK Stakeholders and point of contact for any new content to the Intranet.

Responsibilities
The UK external web presence is integrated into central Company website and the associated communication governance processes are implemented:
Appropriate information for UK (and other designated elements of the Company) is submitted and maintained on the external Company web infrastructure that enables UK customers and stakeholders to access Company information.
To create and implement Internal Communication plans working within the international Company Internal Communications department to deliver communications through a range of channels and internal media including Intranet, primarily in the UK.
The position will include internal news generation and dissemination as appropriate, communication of the corporate strategy and change programmes, internal communicating the strategy & objectives of the organisation.
The post holder will develop an annual UK Local Communication Plan aligned with the Companies Internal & Online Media plan which will improve the local profile/brand awareness of the Company within the community, provide timely communications, support local recruitment and co-ordinate key sponsorships. Working closely with divisional Marketing departments, the post holder will use the full range of Communication tools.
Building the brand of the Company and promoting the projects/solutions of UK and wider.
Building the unique culture of UK as part of a common culture, promoting cooperation, knowledge sharing and internationalisation to ensure the Companies UK employees promote the Company brand through acting as advocates for the organisation.
Developing good employee understanding of the business strategy, objectives, environment and providing support to improve employee engagement.
Ensuring that the profile/brand of the Company is positive amongst key regional groups
Ensuring that maximum benefit is derived from key sponsorships and local initiatives.

Requirements
Excellent writing skills, with the ability to articulate messages clearly and concisely in an engaging style.
Ability to prioritise, work under pressure and deliver to agreed deadlines.
Thoroughness, accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
Highly motivated, able to work independently and in a team.
Creativeness is key to make content engaging and attractive to all audiences; internal and external.
Business acumen and a deep understanding of business culture is essential.
Understanding and ability to enforce corporate and branding guidelines.
