Description
A high-profile Federal Government agency in Canberra is currently in search for an experienced Siebel Migrator/Environment Support Officer to join their team ASAP. The successful candidate will be working on large-scale projects and will be responsible for the installation and upgrade of Siebel CRM 8.x, performing code and reference data migrations, and documentation of new/changed processes associated with Siebel platform upgrades.Duties will include:
- Installation of Siebel CRM 8.x and Siebel innovation packs
- Migration of software builds between development, testing, staging and production environments;
- Development of tools and processes to support migration activities;
- Documentation of technical processes and procedures;
- Verification of software and hardware installations;
- Provision of technical advice and assistance to teams engaged in development, testing, training and production support of the FOFMS application;
- Problem investigation with regard to technical aspects of the solution including analysis and resolution of application performance issues.
- Knowledge transfer to Siebel operations team.
- Demonstrated Siebel system administration skills, including experience in application deployment and code migrations.
- Highly developed technical analysis, research and problem solving skills.
- Well developed communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to produce new and changed process documentation related to Siebel migrations and environment deployment and to mentor junior Siebel system administrators.
