Reward Manager - West London

Our Broadcasting client is currently seeking a Reward Manager to undertake an initial three month rolling contract based in West London.

As a Reward Manager, the successful candidate will provide leadership and management for designated projects to support the development, implementation and communication of reward plans and policies.

You will provide the management to ensure the resolution of the day to day reward related requests and questions from line managers and HR from designated business areas.

The Reward team is responsible for the design, development, implementation, communication and on-going management of reward plans and policies. These plans impact all employees across the reward team ensures that these plans stay competitive and help the alignment of our people to our business strategy and direction.

Key: to provide a lot of technical insight to compensation issues, specifically to provide support and to be able to pick up all BAU (salary/benefits benchmarking. Essential to have a lot of years experience specifically in providing advisory support to commercial businesses on pay related issues. A very nice to have would also be some pensions knowledge and data analysis/communicating/landing auto-enrolment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading significant reward projects, including design, consultation, communication and implementation aspects.
  • Managing the development and implementation of reward processes across the business and/or designated business units. The Corporate and Content has around 6,000 staff in corporate support areas including Technology, commercial teams and content areas.
  • Providing a reward service to designated business areas, mainly focused on providing advice and guidance on a broad range of reward issues to HR and the line.
  • Providing reactive support to handle individual reward issues and transactions that are part of day to day business.

Desired Candidate Requirements:

  • Strong Reward Expert with good knowledge on salary/pay reviews rather than the benefits side.
  • CIPD qualified (desirable)
  • Minimum 5 years experience as a reward specialist and 2 years experience holding managerial responsibly.
  • In depth knowledge of 2 to 3 reward areas.
  • Experience across a range of compensation and benefits areas
  • Experience and skills in developing relationships with line managers including senior executives.
  • Communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • The ability to travel from London to Scotland if necessary.
