Our client is a leading telecommunications company based in Dublin seeking to recruit a UX designer on a contract basis.
Job/Opportunity:
As a user experience designer you'll work within the UX team under the direction of the UX lead, alongside other UXers, designers, developers and business owners to help define the user interface and flows using a range of user centered design tools.
You will work with the team to rapidly develop iterative mock-ups and prototypes and you will be responsible for delivering User Interface specifications with wireframes, screen flows and interactions. It is important that you work constantly on behalf of the user and define flows from a user-perspective using a range of user centered design tools.
Ideally, you will have a minimum of 4 years' experience in user-centered design process, methodologies and tools. You will have a solid understanding of user-centered design process.
Skills/Responsibility:
- Prototype and wireframe definition, design and annotation
- Innovative flair in designing flows and interaction design
- Proven experience of creating templates and design patterns
- Involvement in planning running and moderating user testing
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to produce relevant templates and patterns
- Wireframe and UI and interaction design
- Advanced Prototyping skills (preferably Axure)
- Ability to distil complex analysis into straightforward, clear and actionable language.
- Organisation and ability to meet deadlines is essential for quick turn-around of work
- Enthusiasm and focus on deliverables
- Tablet and small screen device experience
- Design skills a plus
- HTML and CSS skills a plus
- Transactional E-commerce websites experience
