For our direct client who develop, construct and maintain offsore wind parks I am currently urgently looking for an experienced Offshore Substation Installation Manager.-Experience, knowledge and competence equivalent to PMI PMP
Responsibilities
1.Ensure that the project is on time and that quality and economy are within the scope
2.Comply clients guidelines and standards in force, ie PinQWIN and MAKS requirements, as well as local requirements
3.Participate in project team meetings and cross discipline cooperation
4.Ensure that the technical departments` best practices are implemented
Tasks
-Establish and manage engineering project organisation incl division/delegation of responsibility
-Proactively ensure that offshore installation works are carried out based on balanced contracts and optimised time schedule, costs and QHSE
-Analyse and recommend offshore installation and logistics concepts
-Negotiate and recommend preassembly and project support harbour agreements
-Charter installation vessels incl support vessels and barges
-Prepare ITT documents and Employer`s Requirements - Technical Requirements
-Negotiate and recommend offshore installation contracts incl Marine Warranty Surveyor
-Manage and coordinate offshore installation contracts and activities
-Manage client`s reps within individual areas
-Ensure contractor`s delivery and own review of rams
-Analyse and optimise installation procedures
-Manage the Marine Warranty Surveyor
-Coordinate and attend inspections of vessels
-Ensure compliance with internal quality standards for project execution
-Ensure that deliveries comply with internal and external HSE requirements
-Carry out HAZID/HAZOP and risk assessment
-Inform the offshore platforms manager of all significant technical issues, in particular risks, and develop contingency plans
-Implement lessons learnt
-Can recommend methods, quality level and split of contracts within the defined scope
-Can negotiate Employer`s Requirements and contracts, including variation orders within the defined scope
-Can recommend contract award to the offshore platforms manager
-Can agree interface handling actions with related supplies
-Can negotiate and decide variations within the agreed scope
