Job Description:
Experienced and motivated Structural Engineer to work within the Brownfield Projects & Decommissioning Group in Aberdeen, providing support to a wide range of clients and projects in the oil & gas industry in the UK and internationally.
Reports to: Brownfield Projects & Decommissioning Manager

Roles and Responsibilities:
*Respond to client enquiries and support the preparation of high quality proposal and bid submissions; Specifically in the development of structural scopes of work and CTR packages as input to proposals and bid submission
*Produce high quality study deliverables and deliver presentations as required;
*Provide support to a wide range of brown-field & decommissioning multi-discipline redevelopment studies executed in-house in Aberdeen;
*Provide support to multi-discipline studies executed in other regional offices (eg Paris, Stavanger, Abu Dhabi, Kuala Lumpur, Perth);
*Provide guidance and quality assurance for any structural drafting input to specific studies under your responsibility;
*Interface with internal and external stakeholders during development of the studies.
Degree qualified with 7-10 years relevant experience.

Relevant Experience
*Previous experience of working in a consultancy environment, developing a number of short-duration studies simultaneously;
*Concept, Pre-FEED and FEED of structural solutions for brown-field topsides redevelopments & decommissioning of oil & gas platforms.
*Jacket conceptual structural design and FEED stage analysis for weight and cost estimating purposes (we currently use the FS2000 suite of computer programs);
*Good knowledge of foundation solutions for offshore installations;
*Offshore construction/installation experience an advantage but not essential;
*Experience of onshore civil and structural Engineering would be an advantage
