Role Summary:

To deliver a managed payrol l service to clients in a professional, friendly, efficient manner - ultimately delighting customers leading to continued business retention and growth. To support their colleagues, offering guidance and appropriate assistance as and when necessary.

To support and on occasion deputise for the Payroll Manager (PM) - liaising and communicating appropriately and effectively with team members, managers and other contacts alike.

Main Responsibilities:

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Experience of working in a volume based payroll operations environment.
  • Demonstrable written and verbal communication skills using a variety of media Dependent on the situation.
  • GCSE level of education or equivalent, preferably including Maths and English
  • Demonstrable knowledge of PC literacy and software usage ideally Word and Excel
  • Up to date experience in payroll legislation.
  • A visible commitment to quality processes and the ability to challenge and influence change (if necessary) to established procedures.

Desirable:

  • Demonstrating signs of Leadership
  • Some supervisory experience
  • Has obtained or is studying for a recognised payroll qualification
  • SAP Experience

Security Clearance/CRB Clearance

Candidates must be able to demonstrate a pre-existing right to work and travel within the EU. Documentary evidence will be requested at interview.
