We are currently looking to recruit a Newsletter/Web Editor as part of our continued growth, working on-site for a large automotive client.

The Role
The role requires working within a small, established communications team. This is set up to plan and execute internal communication events to a variety of audiences and support external communications with key partners.

The specific requirements of the role are:
*To be the editor of the departmental newsletter (including authoring & ghost writing content).
*To co-ordinate departmental input into other written communications.
*To collate, edit and update the departmental website.
*Measure the effectiveness of the communications distributed.

In addition the role will involve:
*Coordinate and collate presentation materials.
*Liaise with internal suppliers for availability of key publicity items eg cars, displays, audio/visual materials.
*Interface with other areas of the business (eg IT, PLM, Marketing, Design) to help in delivering professional quality events.
*Generate presentation material and audio visual content for Team Communications
*Generate artwork for display boards, promotional items etc.
*Assist with Events with the creation of material, set up and on the day support.

The Person

The successful candidate should possess the following skills/qualifications:
*A high standard of written English.
*A track record of delivering written material to tight timescales.
*An ability to create and interpret survey/feedback data.

Technical:
*Use of Microsoft Office Suite & Google Docs
*Photoshop (pref)
*Good planning skills
*Good attention to detail
*Be self motivating
*Be innovative in new ways of getting the message across.

Other Skills & Information:
*Knowledge of business processes
*Time management and personal organization skills
*Integrity and ethics
*Ability to formulate and communicate concepts
*Be comfortable talking to Senior Management.
*Knowledge of technology tools for multi site communications.
