Infrastructure Project Manager-Data Centre- Banking- Edinburgh
Objective
To manage and support the build of infrastructure & storage for discoveries, migrations and/or replacements. Working closely with workstream manager with separation and re-location to new a new data centre
Responsibility
*Manage/support of 3rd party infrastructure discovery and build requirement in line migration schedule.
*Work closely with colleagues and provide regular updates.
*Assist with platform teams to support migration planning activities.
*Liaise with platform teams to co-ordinate discovery activities.
*Face off to Infrastructure and Applications workstreams
Applicable Skills & Knowledge
*Comprehensive understanding of Prince 2 methodology
*Experienced IT professional - 5 years minimum.
*Good knowledge of infrastructure/Middleware environments/Authentication tools (Active Directory )/Siteminder/Enterprise monitoring tools
*Good general knowledge of multiple platforms/technologies eg Wintel, Mid-Range, SAN, Network etc
*Previous integration or divestment experience.
*Previous experience with data centre exits.
This role requires a candidate with Retail Banking especially within Insurance and or Divestment
