Job Purpose:
Be a part of the dynamic, next generation E-banking solution, which will significantly change the way we provide global banking services to our corporate clients.
You will work with the latest technologies on one of the largest corporate E-banking systems.
You will have the opportunity to learn about various E-banking technologies and Corporate Cash Management business.

Job background/context:
The role is part of the NextGen Dublin development team reporting into the local Head of Technology in Dublin.
A clear strategic point of view on the evolution of the infrastructure sourcing model underpinning the international banking industry.
We deal with all aspects of cash management and cater to the processing capabilities of multiple countries in all primary regions.

Key responsibilities:
Design, develop and support high performing, cross browser code (HTML and CSS).
Deal with other players in the software development life cycle - PMs, BA's, .NET Developers and Test.
Work with the Application and Domain architects in design.
Learn new technologies quickly.
Develop in an iterative environment.

Person specification:
Knowledge/experience:
Minimum 6 years HTML and CSS development experience
Experience working from Prototypes and Style guides to produce high quality code
Good architectural thinking with regards to creating high performance, re-usable code
Knowledge of Usability/Design best practice
Flexibility to work on complex projects with international scope
Experience in multi-branding
Knowledge of Web Internationalization
Knowledge of Web Accessibility
Exposure to Framework based code architecture.
JavaScript/Ajax/jQuery experience useful but not essential

Skills:
Experience with development of client-facing UI modules in large scale software applications is required.
Enterprise level exposure is required - large distributed development and test teams, shared code base with multiple parallel developments.
Deep understanding of UI design for the web, best principles of interactive design and usability engineering
Ability to understand business drivers and balance business needs, timelines, costs and best practices.
Good Analytical skills.
Experience with Banking and Cash management applications and process would be advantageous.
Strong interpersonal skills

Qualifications:
Bachelors degree required or equivalent work experience
Exceptional candidates who do not meet these criteria may be considered for the role provided they have the necessary skills and experience.
