My client based in Oslo have a 6 month contract for a UI/Front End Developer to work on an exciting project, the suitable candidate will require the below skills and experience
Job Description
* Supports the entire software development life cycle.
* Responsible for code asset management for applications, and support and promotes asset reuse.
* Performs integrated completed system testing according to detailed functional specification.
* Supports the implementation of systems into production.
* Assists team members performing system maintenance, research, code reviews, and support tasks.
* Utilizes accepted methodologies and tools in a disciplined manner.
The Ideal candidate will also possess the following experiences:
* Able to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines.
* Self-motivated, detail-oriented and organized.
* Must be a team player.
* Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, organizational skills.
Education and/or Skills:
* 5/6 years of UI/Front End Development experience
* Strong knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, jQuery and CSS
* Deep understanding of CSS inheritance
* A good knowledge in managing maintainable, scalable and cross-browser code across large sites.
* Added advantage to have experience with Java, Ruby, XML, XSL, Content Management and Apache Web Server
* Excellent written and oral communications skills.
Key Performance Measures:
* Successful delivery of assigned tasks and projects.
Possible start date - Within one Month
Language skills - Knowledge of Norwegian will have additional advantage.
