*Capital Allocation Manager*

A Large Financial Services Client based in London is looking for a Capital Allocation Manager to join them ASAP for an initial 6 months.

The successful Capital Allocation Manager will provide high quality and pro-active global capital management and capital allocation to senior internal stakeholders, both Groupwide and internationally, by:
* Supporting the managing and driving of the group's global capital management and allocation framework - both in terms of physical capital and capital risk appetite limits.
* Supporting the setting of risk appetite limits, internal dividend strategy and setting of dividend targets, capital allocation decision making and distributable earnings policy for group's legal entities.
* Managing the corporate legal entity structure, including, but not limited to, provision of capital MI to legal entity boards, capital allocation strategy for said legal entities, corporate legal entity restructuring projects

Skills/Experience Required
* Relevant financial services, ideally insurance, experience.
* High performer, with ambition and ability to learn quickly. Strong self-starter with can do attitude.
* Ability to deliver overall objectives in environment of change, uncertainty and potential resistance.
* Outcome orientated with proven ability to deliver to deadlines, appropriately manage issues and risks, and communicate effectively.
* Excellent communication (written, oral and presentational) & inter-personal skills, especially influencing at all levels.
* Multi-disciplinary - including accounting, actuarial, project skills, capital management, and relationship management.
* High qualitative skills: Brings sound judgement to facts/data, with strong analytic, interpretative skills.
* Demonstrated ability to work alongside and advise senior management.
* Manage relationships in a flexible and proactive manner. Strong ability to mobilise and deliver through others.
* Works successfully in virtual teams and builds trust/relationships/network with wide range of team members.
* Manage workload in a flexible, dynamic and proactive manner. Ability to prioritise multiple projects.
* Provides key insights and identifies key questions and issues, using financial and technical skills.
* Strong understanding of strategic/industry/business issues. Strategic thinker.
