SAP Solution Manager Architect (SAP-SMA)
Main responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing the implementation and on-going support of all functional/technical aspects of SAP Solution Manager.
- Implementation and support of Service Desk.
- Implementation and support of CHARM and OSS integration.
- Implementation and support of Test Management, Business Process Change Analyzer, and Configuration Management.
- Identify and generate material, conduct training sessions and drive communications to user community on Solution Manager usage.
- Provide support and assistance to Solution Manager users.
- Contribute to full integration testing of new or changed business/technical processes.
- Contribute to development of business/technical cycle tests for use by stakeholder community. Document changes and write operational instructions work requirements.
- Perform tasks necessary to ensure data and tables are maintained properly and on schedule.
- Assume leadership role in a small-to-medium size initiative by playing the key contributor, facilitator or group lead.
Knowledge and Experience:
- Sound Solution Manager Configuration and support experience.
- Business analyst skills and ability to work with non-technical colleagues - able explain SAP in clear terms.
- SAP integration skills.
- SAP blueprinting experience.
Professional and Educational qualifications:
- University degree with minimum 6 years in IT OR non-university degree with minimum 10 years' experience in IT.
- Minimum 4 years' experience in SAP/Solution Manager Implementation projects.
- Practical experience with formal methodology and its application to the project life cycle.
- Proven experience in implementing and following quality procedures.
