Contract Web App/UI Developer
My client is seeking to hire a Web/UI developer on a contract basis for the next 6 months. You will be based on-site with a multi-national in Co. Kildare. If you would be interested in further discussing please reply with the latest version of your CV.
In this position, you will be responsible for development of the web application and graphical user interfaces for supporting various features of an new energy management system.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. We are looking for a candidate whose behavioral traits reflect a passion for learning, comfortable in a fast-paced development,who can create rapid prototypes, and is comfortable with practical applications, ability to ramp up on new technologies, tolerance of ambiguity, stellar problem solving skills and a great team player. The candidate is expected to maintain substantial knowledge of UX, and UI applications skins and development.
Minimum qualifications
- Must have a BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Computer Engineering/Science
- Minimum 4 years experience developing web sites with rich Graphical User Interfaces and web video elements
- Minimum 4 years development experience in Javascript, HTML5, XML, AJAX and CSS
- Minimum 4 years development experience with Rich Internet Applications
Preferred qualifications
- 6+ years experience in the above minimum skillsets
- 5+ years experience with web video streaming protocols, containers and codecs
- 5+ years experience with HTML55, CCS3, JQuery and related recent web technologies
- 5+ years experience with Python, Java, or C++
- 5+ years experience with 3rd party web UI development tools
- 5+ years experience with software development methodologies like Agile and applying UML in the design process
