Description
Major international consultancy company is currently looking for a Network and Infrastructure Engineer for a new project based in North Sudan (Khartoum - the safe part of Sudan).
Candidates will be accomodated in the 5* Rotana Hotel with flights and mobilisation all provided by the end client.
The successful candidate will have in depth knowledge and experience of the following:
- Implementing and supporting network infrastructure in a major data centre including Routers, Switches, Firewalls, Packet Shapers and Network monitoring tools
- Providing network utilization reports (MRTG, Cacti, Net-Flow, C-Flow, SysLog etc)
- Implementing security for networks including Firewall, intruder detection, access control, virus protection (Watchguard, PIX, Checkpoint, ACS, Trend, Symantec etc)
- Good knowledge and experience of Cisco hardware including networking protocols
Candidates should have a Cisco certification and security device certification together with ITIL V3 and ISO27001.
Candidates should be aware and respectful of Islamic culture in Sudan.
Khartoum is reasonably safe and shouldn't be confused with unsafe Darfur in South Sudan.
