An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Personal Current Accounts team one of the UK's leading banking organisations. The team deals with commercial and retail products that focus on providing exceptional value for money and convenience for customers.
The successful candidate will be working as part of a dynamic team with the following core accountabilities:
*Delivering the commercial targets for the business, including forecasting, regular monitoring of performance, analysis of the key underlying financial drivers.
*Managing the technical structure of our current account products to ensure our products continue to work in the way we and our customers expect them to, and that any changes we make are implemented effectively.
*Supporting product development to continually improve our customer offer.
*Managing our positioning within the broader regulatory environment - ensuring compliance, pro-activity, and any operational changes required.
*Ensure our customers receive an excellent service from their current account.
*Contributing to defining the overall strategy for the Current Accounts Product & Commercial Management team.
*Managing the ongoing relationship with key suppliers.
*Working with key stakeholders (eg, marketing, finance, IT), and with our channels (telephone banking, the branch network, Internet) to make sure we deliver all of the above as efficiently as possible.
The successful candidate will be:
*Highly commercial in their approach to business with the ability to quickly understand the key financial drivers.
*Effective in planning and controlling a number of initiatives, prioritising them accordingly.
*Comfortable taking decisions and using their judgment when necessary whilst clearly articulating the risks and benefits of key decisions.
