Outsource UK is looking for a SC Cleared Systems Engineer for a 6 month contract in Kent.
Working with our leading Defence Client you will be required to work as part of a dynamic application team that supplies, installs, tunes and tests hybrid-electric drive systems for public transport busses.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience of:
*Applying mechanical and/or electrical skills within the automotive industry
*Performing Engineering Tests in support of system development, system integration and vehicle certification activities, including type approval for compliance with European Union regulations and directives
*Performing tuning of vehicles to provide an optimal solution for fuel economy, emissions and driving performance
*Performing investigations into in-service equipment failures to determine root cause
This is a 6 month contract role and is commutable from Croydon, Maidstone, Crawley, Canterbury and Gillingham.
