Senior Software Engineer - Contract Role - Galway - Cloud Computing
This exciting opening for a Senior Software Engineer is to join a team to develop an internal cloud environment to help utilise open source software and hardware. This role requires a Senior Engineer who specialises in automation using Python or Ruby programming
Key Requirements:
- 5+ years experience in software development
- Working knowledge of all or some of the following: Python, Ruby, Java, Groovy, JavaScript, HTML, FLEX, MySQL, Oracle, Apache, Tomcat, IIS, GIT, SVN
- Experience in an Agile environment
- Experience with automation of Infrastructure or Cloud concepts
- Experience working with large scale/Enterprise level applications
- Some knowledge of web services, SOAP and REST
