Oracle Developer - Cork - €275 to €315
This is an exciting job opportunity for a Oracle Developer to work with an enterprise software development company based in Cork. The company are currently growing and are keen on a Developer to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Requirements analysis & Application Design
- Providing accurate estimates and timings to project managers
- Delivery of application developments using standard Oracle development methodologies
- Mentoring other developers within a project team
- Ensuring all QA procedures are satisfied in terms of process and documentation
- Bug Fixing and Enhancement Implementation
- Communication of designs to management and developers
Technical Profile:
- 4+ years commercial development and support experience in Oracle 9i based applications
- Proficient in SQL, PLSQL, stored procedures, UNIX Shell Scripting
- Ability to write performant SQL and PLSQL essential
- Knowledge of Oracle Financials 11i (AR/AP/GL), Crystal Reports, Oracle Forms/Reports 9i, Java, PReS (Document composition language), IBM WebSphere Data Interchange would be an advantage.
- Experience of Tools such as SQL*PLUS, TOAD, SQL*LOADER, Redwood Explore

- Third level IT or related qualification
- Articulate, confident, self starter
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Innovative problem solver
