Description
Our client, a well known Federal Government Department has an exciting opportunity for a Security Officer/Project Manager with demonstrated experience in an Australian Government Gateway Environment.
The successful candidate will have skills and experience in the following:
- Extensive risk management skills and knowledge and demonstrated experience in applying Government policies (PSPF & ISM), standards and procedures.
- Capabilities in conducting compliance audits against policies including the PSPF and ISM.
- Demonstrated ability to write and maintain security documentation, such as information security policy, security risk management plans, system security plans standard operating procedures and security risk assessments, in accordance with Australian Government, Departmental and international standards.
- Strong Knowledge of technology including but not limited to Firewall architecture, intrusion detection and prevention systems, Proxy services, VPN IPSEC, email and web content filtering and Network Access Control.
- Windows and UNIX system auditing and analysis of audit logs and monitoring systems including investigation and incident reporting and vulnerability/penetration assessments.
- Excellent communication and documentation production skills
