Cisco UCCE Voice Engineer. Contract
National IT Systems Integrator are seeking a Cisco UCCE Voice Engineer, required to provide senior 'Level 3' support during a term of extensive personal leave. Our end Client is a household name and the engagement begins late October (there may be some flexibility around this depending on your personal availability). This is an initial contract opportunity with the possibility to extend long term or convert to a permanent position - depending on suitability.
In this role you will:
Maintain and support a Cisco UC or UCCE system with multiple endpoints in numerous sites across Australia.
Maintain and support high availability call routing at various sites, from branches to Call Centres
Ensure systems availability, integrity and security
Provide business continuity and improvement
Provide Senior 'Level 3' operational support
You have:
IT/business qualifications, together with relevant industry experience (CCVP/CCIE)
Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
Ability in to work in a team environment and autonomously
Knowledge of a broad range of Cisco voice products, analysis, troubleshooting, call flows, Scripting and alarms
Extensive experience in voice infrastructure monitoring, capacity planning and service impact
Detailed knowledge and experience in Cisco UC & Gateway
Detailed knowledge and experience in Call Manager, UCCE, CVP
Detailed knowledge and experience in Cisco Call Centre Reporting
Knowledge and experience of UCCE integration with Exony (would be highly desired)
Experience with Exony highly regarded
You work well under pressure and can quickly analyse situations, recommend operational improvements and implement solutions to computer related problems. This is the last line of support before vendor escalation. This role has an on call capability after hours and weekends on a rotating basis are required.
