Description
Our client in Brussels is looking for 2 senior network engineers.
Role responsabilities
- Troubleshooting of LAN & WAN, WLAN network problems
- Proactive monitoring of the network infrastructure
- Operational management of perimeter Firewalls, SSL gateways and other network security devices
- Management of Firewall rulebases and VPNs
- Proactive monitoring of the perimeter security infrastructure
- Implementation of changes of limited size and optimizations on the network and monitoring infrastructure
- Interface with 2nd level support organizations (network service providers & telco's) Interface with remote VPN Extranet partners during the troubleshooting connections
- Guiding telco's during installation and validation of new WAN connections
Consultant profile
- At least a master's degree in computer science or similar level through experience
- Knowledge and at least 5 years experience with network equipment from Nortel and Cisco, certification is a plus
- General network knowledge (IPv4, OSPF routing, DNS/DHCP, Vpn, ...) is a required
- Knowledge of perimeter security devices (Check point and Juniper Firewalls) is a plus
- You must be a team player
Rate: 400 per day
